Akufo-Addo Must Sack His Disrespectful DCE – Barekese Concern Citizens Demand
The Barekese concern citizens in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region say Akufo-Addo should dismiss their District Chief Executive (DCE) of their District Chief Executive,Hon Rebecca Yeboah.
At a press conference at Barekese community center on Wednesday the a pressure group calling itself Barekese concern citizens alleged gross insubordination against the DCE and declared that, she is unfit to be at her post.
The spokesperson for the Barekese concern citizens, Rev Kwame Afreh Acheampong who addressed the press conference covered by MyGhanaMedia.com says, much as aspects of the work of Hon. Rebecca Yeboah is commendable, they will not sit aloof and watch her bring the name of the district into “disrepute”.
Rev Kwame Afreh Acheampong made mention that, their DCE wants to relocation of their district police Headquarters from Barekese, relocation of DCE’s residents , Relocation of district hospital, relocate of district Fire station all to Maaban which wrong.

He added that , he DCE has intends to deprived Barekese of it’s political status and infrastructural head offices due to her parochial interest and hate for the District Capital.
“The DCE has shown disrespect towards the good people of Barekese particularly the Traditional and stakeholders of the area. Our their DCE has meddling in traditional affairs which is the not the purpose president Akuffo Addo brought her to the district.”
According to some members of the Barekese concern citizens, the DCE has woefully failed to deliver to the expectation of the people and has made Akufo-Addo’s government unpopular due to her incompetence.
They said it is their fervent prayer that president Akuffo Addo and appointment committee to provide them with another DCE for the betterment of Atwima Nwabiagya North district
However, the Chief of Barekese, Okofo Amoapem Brenya l, said the DCE has on numerous occasions showed disrespect to the traditional authorities and also involved herself in chieftaincy disputes in the area. He said the district had become stunted and retarded in development via an incompetent, visionless, disrespectful, and arrogant political ruler (DCE).

In this vein, the chiefs have made a clarion call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to sack their underperformed arrogant DCE from office.
