The Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana Honourable Alexender Akwasi Acquah and his working committee set up to steer the affairs of his constituents yesterday April, 28 embarked on a familiarity visit to public institutions within the Oda enclave.
The toured took the team to the senior high and tertiary institutions in the constituency (i.e: Methodist College of Education, Community Health and Midwifery Nurses Training School, Oda Senior High School, Attafuah Senior High Technical School and St Francis Senior High Technical School.
The purpose of the visit was part of the MP’s concerted effort to acquaint himself and the working committee with government institutions and agencies in the constituency and to obtain first-hand information about pressing issues the above-named institutions are facing which requires urgent attention.
The Hon Alexender Akwasi Acquah assured Heads, Management and Staff of the institutions they visited of his commitment to bring their problems to the barest minimum and reiterated the pledge to leave a legacy at all Senior High and Tertiary institutions in the municipality. He later donated street lights to St Francis Senior High Technical School and Methodist College of Education to help boost their security surveillance at night.
