H.E Nana Akuffo Addo Meets Stakeholders Ahead Of President Cup;Presents the Trophy To The Organizers

Sitting President of Ghana, H.E Nana Akuffo Addo this evening, met with the Sports Minister and the organizers of the President Cup and also the representatives of the two clubs where he presented with the new trophy for the game

The game will come up this evening between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in the 2022 edition of the President Cup- having been out of action for almost three years now. The first gentleman of the land earlier today met the organizers of the game led by GHALCA Chairman, Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo, and other officials. However, the two clubs were also well represented at the Jubilee House by Hearts of Oak Board member Alhaji Akambi and Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah.

The President in the company of the Sports Minister, Hon. Mustapha Ussif had a lengthy conversation with the organizers and the club reps and is very likely he will be present to watch the game today.

The game is slated for 1800GMT this evening in the capital.
