Liberty Professionals FC winger Abraham Wayo has completed his switch to Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The 18-year-old penned a four-year contract with the Stade Olympique de Sousse outfit after passing a mandatory medical examination. He was a key performer for the relegated Premier League outfit Liberty Professionals in the just ended season. Wayo netted seven goals and provided five assists in his 32 appearances for Liberty Professionals in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season. He won three man of the match awards in the process. Wayo becomes sixth Ghanaian footballer after Daniel Lomotey, Prosper Ahiabu, Kwame Opoku, Joseph Esso and Percious Boah who have recently joined clubs in North Africa.
