Traders at Akyem Oda station in the Birim Central municipal have organized at a press conference debunk claims made that, their Member of parliament, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah shared the market fire loans they applied to his family members.
According to them, they are disappointed seeing such character defamation being made against the member of parliament because they actually received what they applied for without any foul play or bias act.
They added that they had to organize the press conference to get their voice out there so that those wrong claims are clarified.
On September 13th last year, a devastating fire outbreak at Akim Oda main market, resulted in lost of properties.
The items that got burnt worth millions of cedis, this includes, sewing machines, clothes, cosmetics, mattresses, food items and many more.
The support according to some of this women has helped them to stand still upon the disaster and will commence the MP for that any day and time.
