Schools Under Tress: Duadaso No.2 SDA JHS Headmaster Call On Government To Fix The Death Trap Shed .


The headmaster for the SDA Junior High School of Duadaso No 2, a surburb in the Jaman North district of the Bono Region, Mr. Richard Owusu Ansah has lamented about the poor nature of their school building which he said is affecting teaching and learning. 


 Mr Richard Owusu Ansah disclosed that, the school lack a lot of facilities like classrooms, store room, headmaster’s office, toilet, urinal, staff Common room and others which is highly affecting the academic performance of the school.
He stressed that, since we are in computer World, government should Help the school by constructing computer laboratory to enable them learn ICT and gain basic knowledge of computing. He added that the poor nature of the school compel most of the class six pupils who graduate from the SDA primary school to continue their JHS education with the school. 


Some of the students also describe the structure as a death trap shed which they said is affecting their learning processes due to it’s nature. They lamented that they lack all the needed teaching and learning materials which facilitate good academic performance. They finally added that, government must also assist them in the provision of tables and chairs in this covid-19 era to help them distance themselves in classroom during classes hours


On his part, The Jaman North District Chief Executive, Hon Adane Ankomah said that, the issue of Duadaso No 2 SDA JHS has been documented, therefore he will make sure by the end of the four years mandate of president Akuffo Addo, the will be a construction of modern classrooms block for the said school. He made this assertions to Akyeam Aboabo based Ahenkan FM’s reporter in an interview.
