Sir John’s Address To Incoming NPP Delegates: Don’t Be Swayed By Money From Aspirants
The member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Medical Team in the Ashanti Region, Patron of NPP Crusaders and also the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency first vice Chairman position aspirant, Mr. John Kwame Duodu (Sir John), has advised delegates that the forthcoming internal election is very critical and crucial for the party, and therefore they should not allow anyone to influence them with money.
He urged them to elect officers who had the pedigree and potential to change the fortunes of the party in the region for the better.
Don’t allow yourself to be induced with money or any tangible gifts for your votes. Stand firm and recognise where the truth is.
In whatever you do, think about the party interest, “Sir John stated.”
He stressed that in this coming election, delegates must look beyond tribal politics and vote for men and women who can do the job.
Have the courage to vote for your conscience, “Sir John told My Ghana Media Online.
My humble plea to the constituency, regional, and national executives is that break eight will be possible if the internal elections in 2022 are successful and free from bias and “mafia” work.
Ghanaians and the world at large are watching our party internal elections starting February, 2022 and ending July, 2022 to elect party officials. Whatever we do as a party, we must and should put our party first, not our selfish interests.
The election of political leaders is one of the most important functions of every formidable political party that has a firm belief in the principle of democracy… As the new patriotic party (Npp) leadership prepares for new leadership in the general elections in 2024, it has become necessary to reorganize the party’s base by electing executives at various polling stations across the country.I wish you all good luck in the ongoing elections. NPP wins. God bless you.
We are the party, and the party is ours. No one owes or owns the party; it is for us all.
JOHN KWAME DUODU (SIR JOHN)
