The Western Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Takoradi, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Former MP of Asante Mampong Constituency, Francis Addai-Nimoh, the Paramount Chief of Osu, Professor Nii Nortey Owuo iv, Oheneyere Gifty Anti (CEO of GDA concept) among other influential figures in the country have been honored at the maiden edition of the Ghana Youth Leaders Awards (GYLA 22) under the auspices of Smivic Communications limited, held at the Accra GNAT Hall on 23rd April 2022.

This honorary conferment, according to the organisers of Ghana Youth Leaders Awards , was done in recognition of the contributions and impact they have made towards the success of young leaders in Ghana.

Speaking to Mr. Smith Ebenezer, Co-founder of Smivic Communications limited during the presentation,he noted that this citation was awarded to these people of influence due to their consistent dedication, efforts and selfless inputs made to the young leaders in this country, Ghana.

The Western Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Takoradi, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah on behalf of the awardees, thanked the organizers for recognizing their efforts and advised the younger generation especially the youth to abort the perception of getting employed in white-collar government jobs rather going into entrepreneurship to earn a living and boost the country’s economy.
